ADC is a new distributed community based peer-to-peer network based on the now obsolete DirectConnect. The network still consists of clients and hubs (servers), but adding modern capabilities, such as multisource downloads, unique ids, file hashes, security and stealth.
ADC supersedes the DCTNG initiative, but the DCTNG protocol documents are kept here for historical reasons.

ADC/0.13 | Password hashing changed, INF command changed slightly, CTM token mandatory. |
ADC/0.12 | New command class 'E' for echo. (Also, see the discussion) |

ADC/0.10 | Session IDs, hashed (and presumably more secure) CIDs, encrypted ADC using TLS |
